Damn, what a waste. May Payne II was a terrifically fun game, totally oblivious to the boundary between cleverness and cliche (for God's sake, one level finds an increasingly paranoid Max exploring a decayed circus fun-house).
I'm disappointed to hear that the film adaptation seems to have kept the formula and ditched the fun.
