As most of you know, Cath and I recently had our first child - Hannah Rose Schager, born on November 23rd in Norwalk, CT. Yet while our new, absolutely adorable daughter has kept me quite busy over the past few weeks, I've still managed to fit in quite a few films. Three new Slant magazine reviews for recent and upcoming films can be found here:
Spanglish (Slant magazine)
The Aviator (Slant magazine)
Blade: Trinity (Slant magazine)
Plus, I've got all-new reviews of Ocean's Twelve, Stage Beauty, Beyond the Sea, Crimson Gold, Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban and The Incredibles posted below.
Ah, a child will surely affect your viewing. I look forward to your reviews of Spy Kids 8, a direct-to-cellphone catastrophe.

That's definitely true. I recently received a screener of Shrek 2 (along with an elaborate book of production photos), and realized that even though I didn't like the film, it might be wise to hold onto any children's movie DVDs I receive from now on.
